The twinkling lights galore,
The night looks allure,
The view from my rooftop,
The night in the backdrop,
Life altering thoughts in my mind,
With the night sky in sight,
Pensive mood, eyes are glued,
To the horizon far away, and the nature shrewd,
I stare, breathing with the nature,
With dollops of pressure,
Head held high,
With a deep sigh,
I look for a gesture in the night sky.
My whole life smeared,
With Responsibilities in my hood,
And a quarter of my life gone by,
The world sings to me a lullaby,
A song not of sleep, not to one I weep,
A song so deep, it takes a big leap,
A leap of faith, a leap of trust,
A trust in the future, cause belief is a must.
It's one in the morning and I stare at the sky,
I look for a gesture in the night sky.
